Greetings, Oberlin!

I am very pleased to announce that starting in the Fall 2018 semester, I’ll be a tenure-track assistant professor of creative writing at Oberlin College; Tom will be there too, as a visiting assistant professor of creative writing. And look, our children are being highly cooperative and photogenic to celebrate:

I will greatly miss my students and colleagues at NYU, which has been such a wonderful place to teach and work. But I’m really looking forward to working with my new students and colleagues at Oberlin. See you there soon! Since seemingly half the friends I’ve made since leaving college went to Oberlin, I will look forward to seeing all of you when you show up for your reunions.
